Can't believe how busy I've been the last couple days. Work got in the way that I just spaced out updating this blog.

Anyhow, today was quite a productive day. Finally found Generations Rhinox. Been searching for him for the longest time since he was spotted out in the wild. Now I'm one step closer to having all the Beast Wars characters I loved from my youth.

Anyhow, I still can't seem to find the GPS I want from all these Brick & Mortar stores. Hopefully I do within the next week so I can travel in ease without getting lost.

Otherwise I went to Ikea today to look at their entertainment stands. Found a few that I like but, I just couldn't justify the purchase. I'm going to keep looking. Hopefully I find one that I can live with for some time. The drive back though was quite troublesome. I didn't think the highway travel would have been bad but, by noon it was sluggish at best. Took an alternative route that took a bit longer but well worth it.

By taking the other unintended route, I dropped by my comic book store to pick up this week's haul. Talked to the guys for a bit about 'Free Comic Book Day' just to see what sort of deals they have. I think I'm going to pick up the Atom Eve statue if it's still there next Saturday.

Otherwise that was my day in a nutshell. Didn't really run into any attractive singles. Alas I can try for that another day.

Restless

The morning started off well enough with me waking out of sleep at 5 am. Apparently I had passed out on the floor and made my way to bed. Didn't wake back up till a couple hours later. Did the whole morning routine of washing up and then decided to play a bit of Red Dead Redemption. I got pretty far the last time I played on my bros 360 but, just decided to pick it up this time for PS3 so I could actually finish.

Anyhow, the day was pretty uneventful. I was gonna go and grab lunch but, was bummed out that I had to miss dinner with my friends due to work. I really wanted to go since it was one of my fave restaurants Alas...I decided to just go to work and miss out on what could have potentially been a fun evening.

Instead I'm at home now continuing to binge watch 'How I Met Your Mother'. Now this is just gonna be another night in with a glass of tequila. Well I think that is all I wish to share till tomorrow. Hopefully I'll have something better to report.

A drunken thought

Ya know, as I watch this episode of 'How I Met Your Mother' (BTW I have never seen this series), I can totally relate to Teds character. I'm a single guy that's trying but, can't find that one true love.

Though at times I'm so comfortable with being single that I've gotten used to the idea of having no significant other. Honestly I feel like giving up on the idea of finding someone. Though I know that is wrong for I know deep down within myself I'm optimistic that I will one day find her.

Too much thinking, not enough doing. Gonna go back to drinking & watching this show. Definitely enjoying it so far. Can't believe I waited this long to catch up on it. It's probably due to the fact that the show has finished with mix reviews from viewers based on how the series finale ran. Ah...but I'll rant about that down the road when i finally catch up. Till then I'll enjoy the ride and be back tomorrow with another singles rant.
